Hey all im looking for your ideas for a forum button you come up with the design and post it here and we will see what one or one's we use. I am buying a button maker and will make these myself and would like to have them ready for Feb tour start. I also need a design for the Mairead C forum and on both it should say Susan McFadden Fan Forum or depending on which one your making Mairead Carlin Fan Forum. Pm the designs to me Thanks so much. You can email them to me also at glen@maireadcarlinfanforum.com

So, what do you mean by forum button? The banner below the title? Or a small icon? I could make both!

As for the design, I might be able to help you, though I'm not sure.

Here is the button made by fans from the Mairead Nesbitt fan forum.  Mairead C was given a whole bag of these during the Christmas tour, I believe by Scott Taylor at the Dallas show.  The button's image is also incorporated in my signature banner below.

that image is to small it is only 2 inchs and need to be 2.625 and with the important images at 2.25 or less so that one will not work for a 2.25 button

This is the first one with a transparent background: I hope it's the right size!

And here with a white BG:

They look really nice only one problem the image is to large. The buttons are 2.25 inch's and you want to keep type and important image at 2.0 inch's and the background image can bleed out to 2.5 inch's. Like right now on the one you made if it was the right size of 2.5 inch's and I made a button with it I would cut off part of her head and hand plus there is no type. Take what you have and make that part down to 2 inch's and then let the background image bleed out to 2.5 inch's and add the type and it will bee great. I hope you understand what im trying to say

2 inch =  50.8 mm
2.25 inch =   57 mm
2.5 inch  =   64 mm

But you said Starman's button was to small and would have to be 2.25 o.O So I have to make the button 2inch?

no the important image needs to be at 2 inchs or less so it can be seen. If you were to draw a 2 inch circle on these buttons that line would be 1/16 of a inch from the edge all the way around. The buttons really measure 2 1/8 inchs on the face and the other 1/8 inch is what wraps around to the back and the full size of the image including what is hidden in the back can be as large as 2 1/2 inchs but this part from about 2 1/8 inchs to the 2 1/2 inchs is what is called bleed or trim I have given you some samples of finished buttons to see and on 2 of them are some of these size errors  like on Alex one part of the type is folding over the edge and on Maireads some of the type is also folding over the edge this is what im trying to avoid. On Starmans button that was a finished button and if I used it on another button like that the type that's right on the edge would be half gone. Maybe when I get the software for the button machine they will have a better way in there to tell how this is made up give me a few days the machine is on it's way here

But your picture is way bigger. Can't you change the size? I think I'm too stupid.
